Simply put, if you want to integrate more fun into your functional training, improve the quality of movement and how you feel, develop a balanced and functionally strong body no matter age, condition or ability and finally…move your body from a place of joy to support your mental health; you’ve come to the right place.


OFFERINGS
As of December, 2024 you can find me on the mats, guiding Pilates: A full body low impact class suited for every size, shape and experience level, focusing on core strength, balance and flexibility. Emphasising feeling good in your body while nurturing connection, dynamic movements and smooth connections. Modifications are encouraged to meet you where you are.

More About Melanie...
My own journey with movement began in 2010, when my health issues (physical + mental + emotional) became unbearable. It was only after my doctor suggested that the only possible activity I could pursue safely was yoga, that I stepped on that damn mat. Little did I know that moment would be the catalyst of so much more.
The next six years were spent managing a studio, and completing extensive training and certifications across a variety of disciplines – all the while juggling a day-job. Then in 2016, I introduced the world to Ignite Evolution Fitness, my own space for strength + sanctuary. Through yoga, pilates, functional training, and frankly, anything that felt GOOD!
What does all that mean to you? Well, as your movement guide, I understand the struggles. I’ve lived them. All of them. Raising kids? Check. Working 2 jobs (or more). Check. Finding yourself disheartened along the way because some arbitrary numbers are just out of reach? Check. Forgetting that movement can feel GOOD? Check.
You are not alone.
