More About Melanie...

Every movement coach starts with their own first step. Mine happened in 2010, on a yoga mat, in a rather desperate attempt to change my life. To save it, Actually. For the last decade and more, I have attended countless classes, workshops, courses and undertaken multiple certifications in a variety of modalities. And while my first step was for me, it now is a journey I share with others.

From managing a studio for nearly six years, teaching in upwards of 12 classes a week while  juggling a full-time day job, I took a leap of faith and opened my own place sanctuary + strength in 2016. Ignite Evolution Fitness is where I flexed my entrepreneurial muscles, and discovered that body awareness is the real flex. 

When the world was changed by covid, I took another leap of faith. This time on a plane from Toronto to Scotland. Now, I get to call Edinburgh home. Taking another step by sharing movement with others here. Now.
